Ages 8-11, 9am-10:30am

Students begin learning the structures of 4 main Ballroom Smooth & Latin dances, including Waltz, Foxtrot, Swing, and Salsa. Students attend as individuals and rotate partners in a group class format. This class is paced with break for a snack and ‘brain break.’

Dancing is a discipline, but it is also a social skill for life. We focus on the necessary techniques to begin a lifelong enjoyment of the given dance styles, but also place an emphasis on social graces, bodily autonomy, musical understanding, communication and creativity. All content is part of a standardized syllabus that can follow students as they continue classes throughout their life.

Ages 12-15, 10:45am-12:15pm

Students begin learning the structures of 6 main Ballroom Smooth & Latin dances, including Waltz, Foxtrot, Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing, Salsa, and Bachata. Students attend as individuals and rotate partners in a group class format. They can choose from a Variety, Smooth, Latin, or Rhythm focus.

Smooth- Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Country

Latin- Salsa, Bachata, Rumba, ChaCha

Rhythm- Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing, Hustle, NightClub

This class is paced with time to take notes. Dance Note journal included with registration.

Session will run for 5 consecutive days for 1.5 hours each day. There are 3 summer sessions available per age.
