Bring us to your school!

It is our primary mission to empower and promote respect, confidence, and teamwork among our youth by educating them on the history and benefits of social dance. We have developed fun and educational programs with this intent in mind. These programs can be conducted in several formats including:

-  An after school program

-  Incorporated into an already scheduled gym class

-  Instruction the evening of an annual event

The Victrola Dance Hall will provide:

1. A team of instructors

2. Lesson(s) in traditional swing standards or any of the other dance styles agreed upon such as a slow dance/waltz/etc. , as well as the history of those styles

3. Education on dance etiquette, communication, and safety

4. Dance demonstrations or facilitation at a one time event. This includes line dances.

5. DJ services for a one-time event playing current titles, or traditional music.

We believe social dancing is an excellent teamwork opportunity for students, fostering confidence and social education. We hope to empower teaching staff by alleviating concerns surrounding behavior on the dance floor. We hope to share tools that support a culture of consent and propel further learning environments.

Programs have been presented with great success in Colleges,  Middle/High Schools, Theaters, Churches, and Libraries throughout the PA and MD Area. We instruct weekly at both Messiah University and Dickinson College, as well as at several annual events including Susquehannock High School’s Jazz Fundraiser, the Martin Memorial Library’s Youth Empowerment Summit, and Stewartstown Summer Theatre.

We look forward to hearing from you and working with your students!

Thank you!
